账号和同步数据由 RainGo 及支持这些服务的托管基础设施处理。服务提供方可能使用必要的网络转发设施连接第三方登录接口。RainGo 不将用户数据用于出售、广告画像或与字幕及账号同步功能无关的用途。法律要求时，我们可能依法提供必要信息。
你可以不登录而使用本地功能；可关闭云同步、调整网站访问权限、修改服务配置或停止音频识别。退出登录使当前服务端会话失效，但不会自动删除账号、云端快照或本地备份。卸载扩展不等于删除服务器上的账号数据。
设置页提供清空云端数据的功能时，该操作作用于当前账号的同步快照，并不等同于删除账号或立即清除所有备份。若要请求访问、更正或删除账号及相关数据，请联系上述邮箱。我们会核实请求并说明可处理的范围。当前不承诺固定的自动删除期限；数据及必要的运维备份可能保留至完成相关服务、安全或恢复目的。不要将云同步作为唯一备份。

Data and purposes
To provide subtitles, RainGo processes relevant page/media URLs, subtitle text, language, player and request information. Speech recognition processes audio from the chosen video or an audio source you authorize, plus transcription results. Local storage contains preferences, feature switches, provider/model settings, prompts, API keys, caches, account snapshots and session/sync state.
Accounts use an email, name, user ID, session and security information. Password login stores a password hash. Social login processes identity information and necessary credentials returned by that provider. Account settings sync is enabled by default after login; you can disable automatic sync in Settings → Cloud sync. Disabling it does not automatically delete existing server data. Account-scoped settings snapshots include saved API keys and prompts, but audio/subtitle caches are not part of settings sync. HTTPS and encrypted storage protect sync; the server holds protected decryption material and can decrypt the data. This is not client-only end-to-end encryption. Infrastructure may process IP addresses, request times, paths, status codes and browser/session metadata for operations and security.
Recipients
Online translation sends subtitles and related prompts to the translation provider you select. Speech recognition sends audio and parameters to your chosen speech provider. Your configured key, endpoint and headers are used to call that service. Depending on your choices, providers can include Google, Microsoft, Deepgram, OpenAI, DeepSeek, ElevenLabs, Alibaba Cloud or a custom compatible service. Providers may process data in other countries under their own policies. RainGo account and sync services use hosting infrastructure and may use network forwarding infrastructure to reach third-party login services. RainGo does not use user data for sale, advertising profiles or unrelated purposes. Necessary information may be disclosed as legally required.
Choices and retention
You can use local functions without an account, disable sync, restrict site access, change providers or stop recognition. Logout invalidates the current server session, but does not delete accounts, snapshots or local backups. Uninstalling does not delete server data. Clearing the cloud snapshot, where available in settings, is not account deletion or immediate deletion of all backups. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion; we will verify the request and explain its scope. No fixed automatic deletion period is currently promised. Data and operational backups may remain as needed for service, security and recovery. Sync is not a substitute for your own backup.
